This is what I did for reading. We had to draw a animal that doesn't exist and then you had to name it and name the body parts, then colour it in.

How to throw a shot put.

Shot put requires good throwing and good strength to throw a heavy metal ball.

Each practice you can get better and better.

First you have to pick up the shot put, then you have to put it close to your chin and make sure that you face perpendicular to where you are throwing. As you throw you can sort of bend your back leg to throw further.

Then when you push off you want to make sure your push is powerful enough to go up in the air so you get a better distance.

You can get better by practising every day and watching how people do it because you can learn things from them and you can use it when you do shot put.

As Otama School walked up onto the stage nervously we began to sing Haere Mai then moved onto Mauria Mai Taku Wai and we were on the stage first. When we finished  we walked of the stage thinking how good we were then later in the day we had a  little snack. A few minutes later these boys came up holding sticks and showed us a game and you had to stand in a circle with the sticks and when the teacher called a name they had to move to the stick next to them and if they don't catch the stick they are out until the next round and at the end the people finished. My favourite item was the boys playing the game. Then at the very end we packed up and walked to the bus.
